Datacrush has been my on-line identity over the past 10 years. This website serves as my anonymous blog and on-line photo albums. I also host contents for some of my friends.
I specialize in middleware and system integration on IBM iSeries. My other specialty is penetrating system’s security (as a white hat, of course), and I can be somewhat of a delinquent at times. Some thinks I’m a little brash, but that’s a quality I look for when hiring a competent technical person.
Currently in mid 20s, I started on computers with an IBM PC/XT 8086 with 512K of RAM when I was 5 or 6, prior to that I had an Atari console. By 11 I was into programming, and later into machines and operating systems. Apart from being a code monkey, I am capable of playing the role of System Administrator, Security Officer, and Software Engineer.
Today I’m a System Analyst and Product Manager in a multinational company where I started working since I was 18. I manage a team with multiple skills in IBM RPG, Java, C, .NET, and TCP/IP. Lately I enjoy photography using my Canon Powershot S5 IS.
My job gets me globe-trotting so I often live out of a suitcase. I grew up in more modern parts of Asia but pines for United States where I’ve spent most of my consecutive days in any single country for the past two years. Plus American food is awesome!
I’m open to short term opportunities in developing technical Java and iSeries RPG programs or security penetration test on the good ol’ AS/400 machines. Just because IBM says it’s secure, doesn’t mean your developers are smart enough not to have it broken.
